Five reasons we’re grateful this Father’s Day

A very happy Father’s Day to all the super Dad’s out there – from all the team at Intrust Super!

This Father’s Day, the Intrust Super team wanted to celebrate all the great advice and life lessons fathers can give their kids. Here’s just some of the reasons the Intrust Super team are grateful for all the Dads in our lives!

“My father taught me that you can achieve anything you want in life, but not without putting in the hard work and making sacrifices along the way. He passed on a real ‘have a go’ attitude – because if you don’t try, you’ll never know what you can do.”

– Brendan O’Farrell, CEO

“My Dad is a really stable role model in my life. Thanks to my Dad, I learned how to budget, and even more importantly how to live within my means. He helps me believe I really can do anything I set my mind to.”

– Megan Jory, Relationship Manager

“My father always had one major rule, and that was to always tell the truth, no matter what the situation. He wanted to ensure that I would grow up to be someone that people could always trust. Honesty and keeping one’s word can be a true measure of a person. He learned this from his father, and I have passed this rule on to my son.”

– Geoff Chiapello, Communications Manager

“My Dad demonstrated the importance of living a well-balanced life throughout my childhood. Although he worked hard at work, he put just as much effort into his family and home life as well. Even when his job sent him travelling a lot, he would still ring us every day to catch up on everything he had missed.”

– Phoebe Clark, Communications Specialist

“I want to say thanks to my Dad for being different to all my peers’ Dads, and for teaching me to stop worrying about the things you can’t change.”

– Malcolm McBeath, Relationship Manager
